The University of Cincinnati, Campus Services' department is currently accepting applications for a Director of Marketing, Publication & Facilitation. Campus Services’ Marketing department supports the marketing/design activities for Parking Services, Housing, Food Services, Campus Recreation, Retail Services, UC Bookstores, Printing and Duplicating, Conference and Event Services and other business units providing services to the campus community.
Under general supervision of the Sr. Associate Vice President of Campus Services, directs planning, oversees design, development/implementation of publications, marketing campaigns, promotional campaigns, communications, and market research. This individual will also create strategic vision and oversee goals related to meeting the operational needs of this unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Campus Services leadership team, be the primary leader over marketing initiatives and brand management efforts.
This includes development of proposals, website + social content, and brand development.
Create and manage programming, budget management, ROI/and market presence.
Will be accountable for internal client services; supervision, as well as development and growth of team members.
Ensure the development of, operational/profitability focused marketing initiatives to meet client satisfaction goals as defined in the department’s annual business plans.
Maintains digital signage, selecting and ordering specialty advertising promo pieces, cataloging historical record of photographs, etc.,
Develop and manage media presence for Campus Services (i.e., Facebook, twitter, websites, etc.).
Provide leadership and oversight of the marketing design department, electronic media and written content.
Serve as a liaison with UC public relations, press and media.
Serve as a member on University-wide, community and industry committees and/or at meetings.
Develop and administer appropriate policies and procedures.
Ensure integration of marketing communication activities to deliver timely campaigns.
Works closely with all Campus Services to develop, grow and improve customer marketing strategies.
Bachelor's degree with 7 years experience; OR associate degree with 9 years experience; or 11 years experience.
Degree and experience must be in business administration, marketing or a related field.
Experience must include at least 3 years supervision.
