Summary of Duties: The Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing promotional and marketing collateral that advances the reputation of Washington State University. This position serves as the lead writer for producing content that will be used in digital, online and print marketing materials focused on student recruitment and other enrollment management efforts. Such collateral includes feature stories, brochures, advertisements, social media content, video scripts, web pages and other materials. The Content Marketing Specialist will work collaboratively with the creative team and others across the university to support the goals of the enrollment management marketing strategy for the six WSU campuses across the state of Washington, with a primary focus on WSU Pullman.
Required Qualifications: A Bachelors degree in public relations, communications, marketing or other relevant field AND either two (2) years of professional experience in print OR broadcast news media, public relations, marketing including the use of electronic media or two (2) years of other relevant professional experience.
