Are you motivated by developing relationships and cultivating an industry-based network? Are you interested in developing dynamic multi-channel branded content? Does the opportunity to make an impact in the hospitality industry motivate you? Kalibri Labs is looking for an experienced marketing professional to initiate and execute a comprehensive content/communications plan focused on building qualified leads and overall brand awareness. This candidate will report directly to the Director of Product and Customer Experience.
Develop relationships and network with hospitality industry media, trade press and convention/event planning organizations and key players.
Collaborate with leadership to define comprehensive brand and company lead generation, nurturing, conversion and retention marketing strategies with product, channel and cohort specific application.
Collaborate with leadership to develop a comprehensive marketing/content creation and distribution roadmap across all applicable channels and customer cohorts.
Manage and develop industry, partner and affinity channels marketing roadmaps - content definition, creation, refinement, distribution, analytics and conversion.
Develop, execute and manage the entire editorial process: research, write, and edit content, including but not limited to whitepapers, blog posts, social media posts, webinars, video scripts, infographics, emails, presentations, press releases, interactive content and web copy. Partner with subject matter experts to create thought leadership that helps drive demand generation and ultimately book new business
Leverage data assets to convey the Kalibri Labs narrative around our differentiated role in the hotel industry
Maintain all Kalibri Labs digital assets both externally and internally including our website, sales collateral for all products, white papers, press releases, and other marketing channels with dynamic/timely content
Partner with sales leadership to understand the needs for their client-facing teams messaging/collateral and execute the development of those materials, including sales slicks for products and competitor battle cards
Plan and prep for speaking engagements and conferences—measure effectiveness and ROI on those conferences, and optimize future opportunities to ensure Kalibri Labs gains optimal impact
Help to establish and maintain brand guidelines for all materials and ensure that all content is on brand and consistent
Measure and report on campaign effectiveness and consistently optimize strategies
Bachelor’s required, emphasis on Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred
Hotel industry experience and knowledge a must - prior experience w/ industry trade publications a plus
4+ years of experience writing and creating content (Examples of published articles related to the hospitality industry will be requested)
Experience in developing, managing and maintaining corporate public relations including relationships with trade press
Proficient on all social media platforms, a website builder, email marketing platforms, SEO and SEM
Proficient with Adobe Creative suite with the ability to design marketing collateral from idea to publication (video production and editing is a plus)
Analytics aptitude and an ability to explain complex concepts simply, especially related to data and analytics
Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
