About the Role: We are seeking an intelligent, experienced digital creative specialist with a passion for storytelling and the power it has to impact marketing objectives. The Marketing Storytelling Specialist will lead the content process from ideation to publication. The Marketing Storytelling Specialist will be responsible for implementing creative strategy, outlining content plans and concepts, maintaining editorial calendars, capturing photography and videography, editing the content to create the final cut, and publishing content on web and social media. About the Ideal Candidate: You need to be detail-oriented, adaptable, empathetic, and a creative storyteller and communicator. Your listening and written communication skills combined with patience and quick thinking will get you through resolving any challenge that comes your way. Your self-starter mindset and personal accountability will allow you to master the content planning process to enable the execution of high-quality digital content on an ongoing basis. You are a self-motivated, strategic thinker with a solution-oriented mindset and a working knowledge of the nonprofit landscape. You are comfortable setting and reporting on marketing goals for the content you create. You have an awareness and sensitivities in working with diverse cultures and communities. A background in video production, blogging, journalism, and/or graphics creation, and an obsession with storytelling and creating viral content, is paramount.
