We are seeking a MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE to join our team! You will be responsible for supporting APCO’s communications and marketing efforts associated with increasing awareness and efficacy of the APCO Institute. The ideal candidate will create and execute strategies that promote the Institute’s programs and services while developing and implementing communications plans and related promotional collateral.
Oversee, plan, coordinate, implement and track strategic marketing campaigns for the APCO Institute
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identifies new market segments that can/will drive the growth of the APCO Institute
Prepare and execute direct mail and email marketing campaigns
Serve as marketing liaison for the APCO Institute
Ensure consistent branding for all APCO Institute products and collateral
Identify industry trends and new developments that will impact APCO Institute’s strategic plan and success
Monitor social media for inquiries regarding the Institute
Assist with APCO Institute trade shows and conferences
Assist with editing publications that include the magazine and electronic newsletters
Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or communications or another related field
Three to five years’ work-related experience in communication, marketing and/or another related field
Previous work in an association environment preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to work well in teams
