SUMMARY This position is primarily responsible for guiding digital marketing efforts for the Discover The Palm Beaches (DTPB) Digital Marketing team. The duties will include oversight the CRM strategy and execution, website oversight, email strategy and execution and co-management of digital marketing partners.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Continually review and improve web strategy with AVP and digital partner
Assists with designing landing pages and general improvements to website in accordance with Brand Guidelines, as well as project management of website partner.
Google Analytics: Assists in the delivery of monthly analytics reports and findings for all digital properties. Monitor and deliver website performance reports including web analytics, year-over-year analysis, competitive benchmarking and industry statistics as well as report
Oversee all necessary A/B testing related to the website
Oversee SEO/SEM strategy and implementation by digital agency partner
Implement all necessary web changes stemming from CRM updates, including any API needs
Liaison with Groups and Community Engagement to ensure their web pages are accurate and incorporate updates as needed
Supports the development of reports to track monthly KPIs as directed by leadership.
Understanding of Drupal, graphic design and web optimization of images
Lead continuous improvement of email marketing practices via the evolution and integration of segmentation strategies, models, web analytics, and database enhancements to support best in class customer marketing strategies.
Partners with departments to execute and deploy eMail marketing communication strategies including, but not limited to, consumer e-newsletters, travel trade newsletters, meetings newsletters, custom industry partner newsletters.
Lead the evolution of CRM strategies to ensure that DTPB is driving increases in database member visitation.
Lead the strategy, development and execution of multichannel customer journey initiatives by deriving insights from campaign analyses, data mining, web analytics, and test and learn initiatives to drive and optimize customer loyalty, database acquisition, retention, personalization and promotional strategies.
Responsible for overall CRM integrity, including a strong focus on validity and auditing of data for accuracy, inputting of relevant data and content
Partner with other teams to ensure digital marketing strategies and promotions are optimized (including the development of communication and training materials as needed).
Responsible for delivering various CRM related project requirements throughout project lifecycle from gathering requirements, delivering clear directives, and ensuring on-time delivery of work.
Supports attendance at external events and sponsorships with DTPB
Ensures DTPB team members are leveraging CRM capabilities and trains team when necessary
QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE
5+ years of digital marketing experience preferred
Education (4-year degree) in business, marketing, hospitality, IT or equivalent
Experience in travel, tourism and hospitality industry preferred
Experience in managing staff
Must possess outstanding communication, technical, and problem-solving skills
Must have the ability to collaborate with internal teams to understand scope of work and achieve project goals
Must have exceptional interpersonal skills and thrive in a collaborative environment
Strong writing and proofreading skills
Ability to review marketing materials to ensure adherence to brand standards
Detail-oriented in a multi-task production environment
Self-motivated, self-starter able to work independently and on teams
Must be a quick learner and be able to adapt to a changing environment
