Walnut Hill School for the Arts seeks an experienced Marketing & Communications Associate to provide maternity leave coverage in the School’s Marketing & Communications office. This is a temporary full-time position for 3 to 5 months, as needed, beginning in early-mid September and continuing through mid-December. Exact dates to be determined in consultation with School Administration.
Walnut Hill, located in Natick, Massachusetts, is an independent boarding and day high school offering a transformational educational experience designed for student artists in grades 9–post graduate. Walnut Hill combines a comprehensive college-preparatory academic curriculum with intensive, pre-professional artistic training in theatre, dance, music, visual art, and writing, film & media arts.
Maintaining and planning the content calendar for all digital external communications: social media, email, livestream, and website updates;
Posting scheduled or “off-the-cuff” content to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube;
Photographing or requesting photography of all on campus events and happenings and managing photography submissions by faculty, staff, and students;
Scheduling, creating, and sending email communications for admissions, development, events, and to parents;
Assist with updating the website calendar, building out event content when needed;
Approve, schedule, and oversee student social media takeovers;
Design in-house print and digital graphics as needed;
Create and manage digital advertising campaigns: Facebook, Instagram, and Google;
Review website analytics as needed;
Setup live stream events on livestream.com; and
Design and manage printing of show programs.
Assist with setup of events as needed;
Assist with coverage of livestream events as needed; and
Other duties as assigned.
3-years experience in Marketing and Communications
Social Media Platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube
Basic understanding of photography
Ability to work well independently and as a member of the team
Strong communication skills
