The Manager of Marketing & Engagement will guide all marketing initiatives from start to finish, develop volunteer and donor relationships and support the overall growth of Erika’s Lighthouse. This candidate should have a passion for the mission and a commitment to education and raising awareness about adolescent depression.

Develop, implement, manage and evaluate strategies to expand Erika’s Lighthouse footprint nationally by targeting school mental health professionals and teachers through effective storytelling.
Oversee the organization’s brand, communications, publicity, lead generation and more.
Manage Erika’s Lighthouse online presence, including social media, website, advertising, listings and more.
Work closely with marketing partners to ensure maximized return on investments.
Develop marketing volunteers to utilize their expertise in expanding the organization’s reach.
Ensure organization’s activities and efforts meet brand guidelines and strategy.
Support the Erika’s Lighthouse team by engaging and empowering stakeholders, including schools, students, parents, foundations, corporations, fundraisers and donors.
Develop local and remote volunteers to advocate on behalf of the organization.
Assist with grant writing and foundation management to secure funding.
Work closely with Executive Director on fundraising and development to support volunteer and donor management, relationships and empowerment – particularly relating to peer-to-peer fundraising.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business preferred. Advanced degrees are a plus.
Minimum 5+ years in a peer-to-peer and/or marketing role. Experience in an education field a plus.
Knowledge of technology, including website development and usage, social media platforms, Google Analytics, Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers, staff, community groups and other related agencies and stakeholders.

Ability to work strategically within a team structure as well as independently.
Dependability, good time management and organizational skills, and attentiveness to detail.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with an infectious enthusiasm for the mission and the ability to engage and inspire others.
Familiarity with marketing strategies, peer-to-peer experience a plus.
