California State University Bakersfield MARKETING SPECIALIST (Public Affairs/Communication Specialist II)
This position will have responsibility of leading the marketing and promotional efforts for CSUB Athletics, to include developing and implementing extensive marketing and promotional strategies in order to generate and increase interest, excitement, and loyalty for CSUB Athletics and our teams. The selected candidate will be responsible for creating an optimal gameday environment for fans and students. The position will be an integral member of the athletic department’s external team, will report to the Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs, and will provide lead direction for two Marketing Graduate Assistants, spirit co, and a team of available student assistants and volunteers. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with the ticket office, communications department, and the creative services and broadcasting efforts.
