Supervision is received from the Senior Director, Membership.
Maintain a good working knowledge of all department policies and procedures and provide suggestions for departmental growth.
Evaluate member service benefits and programs and suggest substantive and logical improvements.
Maintain a good working knowledge of all database records, reports and communications and be able to garner information from Impexium for any given criteria.
Answer calls and email inquiries in a timely and professional
Travel monthly to trade shows/conferences.
Responsible for reviewing member service content on ABA website and suggest changes based on member feedback.
Adhere to monthly department timeline and calendars.
Handle complaints about ABA members, record all complaints in database.
Build relationships through both in-person events and virtual engagement with current members, associates, external stakeholders and influencers to increase referrals and create collaborative growth opportunities.
MEMBERSHIP GROWTH AND RETENTION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Grow all segments of membership.
Maintain membership record management on database system including processing of new member applications, member renewals, prospect database, publication subscriptions and member listings
Attract new members and work with Sr. Dir., Membership on the creation of these strategic marketing pieces.
Create weekly/monthly sales calendars for membership.
Develop promotional and solicitation materials for member growth and retention.
Continually assess member needs and satisfaction.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and various reports as needed on membership numbers and renewal trends.
Manage dues renewal collection and coordinate dues billing and posting process with the accounting department and with Sr. Dir. of Membership, ensuring accuracy of amounts.
Research all competitive associations within the industry to source for prospective members.
Identify, develop, manage and promote joint ventures with external partners and other Associations.
Continually assess cost-saving programs and strategic partnerships and make changes and improvements as needed.
Member Services Management
Assist in selecting and placing advertising to promote member growth.
Assist in selecting trade show events to match association's strategic plan.
Manage trade show participation and serve as on-site contact.
Four or more years of marketing and sales experience or four or more years of equivalent experience

ABA represents approximately 950 motorcoach and tour companies in the United States and Canada. Its members operate charter, tour, regular route, airport express, special operations and contract services (commuter, school, transit).
