As a Sales & Marketing Assistant, you will be seeking out candidates to fill existing job orders. You must be very comfortable cold-calling candidates as well as companies. You will also be conducting phone screens and arranging interviews. Heavy phone use is required as well as knowledge of basic computer applications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Initiates contact with qualified candidates for specific job openings.
Interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the client organization and position.
Refers candidates and coordinates interviews with client.
Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
Coordinates communications with applicants.
Perform follow up work to track results and maintain relationships with clients and candidates.
Documents information and maintains records for future references.
College Degree desired, but not required
1 – 5 years of experience in a sales-oriented or recruiting role
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to interact effectively with candidates and clients over the telephone
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Ability to work in a team environment
Energy and enthusiasm
Continuous on the job training and support in-house and offsite
