The Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator drives social media strategy, planning and execution for the School of Architecture, in coordination with the School of Architectureâ™s mission, brand and graphic/visual identity. They work to raise awareness of UVA School of Architecture, enhancing the schoolâ™s reputation to various audiences, including prospective students, faculty, and its global alumni network.The Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator leverages analytics to assist in setting strategies and plans for building a compelling online presence for the School of Architecture across the social landscape, both the typical platforms, but also through innovative forms of digital storytelling.
The Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator serves as the School of Architectureâ™s central and unifying social media and digital marketing resource. They are expected to work collaboratively with the Creative Director of Communications and Graphic Designer in creatively developing and implementing digital content and strategies to enhance awareness, reputation, and a compelling visual identity for the School of Architecture.They are expected to work independently in regularly monitoring, analyzing, reviewing, reporting on social media and digital marketing effectiveness. He/she will have experience in social media content creation, video production and/or digital graphic production to assist in the creative aspects of visual storytelling and coordinate digital campaigns that increase engagement, contribute to recruitment and drive enrollment. They play a lead role in initiatives developed by the School of Architectureâ™s Communications Office related to online advertising, search engine optimization, content marketing, analytics, and outreach to the School of Architecture community.
