Deal directly with customers on a daily basis through telephone and email in order to meet sales quotas/goals
Aggressively seek and find new business within existing customers
Develop and execute creative ways to apply our products/services to customers’ needs
Use industry data to prospect for new customers
Builds and maintains opportunities pipeline
Keep records of customer interactions and transitions using the CRM Program
Provide quotes, options and ideas while partnering with Sourcing for options
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to execute customer requests
Partner with Marketing to build targeted territory and customer specific collateral
Maintain current product and service knowledge and apply that knowledge when selling to customers
Analyze and build action plans on customer sales reports
Attend customer meetings and trade shows as planned/needed
High school diploma, general education degree or equivalent
Ability to apply consultative selling approach
Aptitude for relationship building
Knowledge of relevant computer skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills-verbal and written
Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to travel quarterly
Additional Salary Information: Salaried, variable compensation commission.
