Composite Panel Association (CPA), under the supervision of the Senior Marketing Director, is seeking a detailed oriented part-time Administrative Assist to support the marketing communications and annual meeting activities of the association.
Job responsibilities include the following:
Communications Duties Include (30%):
Assist with production of internal and external electronic newsletters, including manage mailing lists
Responsible for updates to the association contact management database, including issuing website passwords
Assist with production of CPA publications, including flyers, brochures and other collateral material
Educational Outreach Duties Include (30%):
Manage logistics for CPA’s presence at 3-4 trade shows annually, including shipping, booth furnishings, etc.
Assist with data collection of company-specific sales and product information for association’s Buyers Guide that appears in industry magazine
Assist with CEU program management, including certificate generation
Responsible for online publication fulfillment
Annual Meetings and Events (40%):
Manage all aspects of meeting registration and hotel room block for 2 annual membership meetings
Assist with the site selection process, including researching hotels and tracking proposals
Manage member tabletop exhibitor program
Travel to 1-2 meetings per year (2-4 days each)
Responsible for ordering and shipping meeting supplies
20 – 25 hours per week. 4-5 days per week. Flexible schedule.
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 3 years experience
Association or non-profit experience preferred
Meeting planning experience a plus
Detail-oriented; consistently produces high-quality work without close supervision
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Excellent interpersonal skills, outgoing personality, and desire to provide outstanding customer service
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Publisher) required (Office 365 preferred)
TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED (approximately 2%)
1-2 annual association meetings in North America per year (2-4 days in length)
