WHO WE ARE: Corecare was established in 1990 and specializes in health care communications, i.e., marketing, advertising, public relations, newsletter publishing, website services, and collateral design. We also manage statewide medical and nursing societies which entails everything from membership recruitment and maintenance, meeting planning, annual conventions, trade shows, fund raising, grant writing, social media, etc.
Based on performance, the successful intern candidate's role may evolve into a full-time career.
DUTIES: Training in all aspects of this exciting field. Duties may include writing press releases and short articles, proof reading, event/convention planning support, technology and innovation support, database management, graphic design, general office support, etc.
SKILLS NEEDED: Must be familiar with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel or Access. Experience with Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, and Associated Press style manual also a plus.
