FOX Factory, Inc., a fast-growing and dynamic company in Braselton, GA (30517) has an exciting opportunity for a Vice President of Marketing.
The VP of Marketing is responsible for understanding market perception and ‘voice’ of the Powered Vehicle Group’s individual brands and effectively lead the messaging and aesthetic. Stay current with progressive marketing tools to create the most effective product/promotion mix and brand presence; identify key marketing opportunities and partnerships to strengthen both brands. Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, E Commerce and Finance to streamline inter-departmental communication and ensure successful product launches for all stakeholders. Ensure clear and timely dissemination of all brand information to strengthen partnerships and promote customer confidence in the brand’s ability to help drive sell-through.
Drive the individual marketing teams to stay current with competitors and opportunities to promote the brand and product lines globally; ensuring the brands stays relevant in the eyes of the media and consumers. Manage project deliverables to ensure each team member is executing successfully in their respective roles: racer sponsorship, tradeshow and event planning/execution, digital and print marketing collateral, social media brand deliverables and lead for the Road Atlanta partnership. Manage to each personality strength and skill level to create a driven, innovative and collaborative Marketing Team.
Report all Marketing initiatives to the President of PVG.

The VP of Marketing will be responsible for, but not limited to program activities such as:
Budget: Create the detailed budget for each brand. Manage the budget throughout the season comparing budgeted to actuals to ensure the budget is adhered to. Ensure staff are seeking competitive quotes in an effort to keep vendor/project costs on target.
Brand Management: Manage the ‘voice’ of the brand ensuring the messaging and aesthetic is consistent across all marketing collateral. (i.e. event presence, packaging, digital/print advertising, online presence, copywriting, etc).
Product Launches: Collaborate with team to create a unique campaign for major product launches. Create and manage the schedule throughout the year to give all departments transparency into market initiatives. Ensure enough flexibility to work around Engineering and Sales timeline challenges.
Tradeshow / Events: Work with Sales to determine booth needs and staff scheduling. Create booth design and provide graphics team direction to ensure successful execution.
Ads: Work with the Lead Creative and Marketing Coordinators to write a brief and storyboard ensure photo shoots are well planned and executed. Give creative/composition direction to ensure all ads are on strategy and “on brand”.
Communication: Ensure clear and timely dissemination of all brand information to our distribution chain. i.e. ensure distributors have access to all marketing assets to promote the brands globally with a consistent aesthetic and message. Ensure customers understand the marketing initiatives planned for the season to strengthen buy-in and promote confidence in the brand’s ability to help drive sell-through of our products. Work with large online customers to collaborate on special promos.
Sponsorship Program: Review the Event/Racer/Ambassador Sponsorship Program direction with Marketing Coordinators to ensure each racer is effectively representing the brand and providing ROI. Sign-off on the final roster each season.
Staff Management: Ensure that all reporting staff have clearly defined roles, structure, processes and resources to ensure they are successful in their respective roles.
Social Media: Create annual social media plan for all brands on all platforms and ensure execution at various milestones. Coordinate deliverables for targeted HG and apparel campaigns to drive e-com sales. Interact with various online media vendors and create traffic to out respective sites.
10+ years of experience managing and growing a successful brand and tier one automotive business exposure.
BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Analytics or related field.
Proven success leading/managing a team.
Project Management: Able to prioritize and juggle many projects simultaneously while leading a team to successfully execute on time and within budget.
Marketing Experience: Tradeshow display development, photo shoot coordination, catalog creation, online marketing via web sites, online forums and social media penetration, marrying dynamic and static marketing tools (i.e. adding QR codes to printed hangtags), knowledge of traditional and progressive marketing tools (i.e. guerilla and viral marketing), creation and maintenance of relationships with sponsored racers, product reviewers and media to ensure the brand is well represented.
Product Development: Deep understanding of the product development cycle, the internal and external factors that impact the process, the challenges that potentially arise and the ability to spot them early enough in the time line to mitigate the impact.
Computer Proficient: Microsoft Office, Accounting Software, Internet Savvy. Knowledge of social media software/apps to track metrics is an asset.
Design Skills: Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat), video editing software. Knowledge of design software, Design theory, Typography and Composition skills are a major asset to provide aesthetic direction and problem solving to the Graphics department.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Technical product copy writing for web and print, press releases, design briefs, ad copy.
Travel Experience: Extremely comfortable with overseas and domestic travel.
Contact Base: Strong industry relationships with suppliers, media, product reviewers, distributors, sponsored racers and organizations.
