The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for assisting with marketing the programs and services within the Division of Student Affairs by effectively utilizing a variety of communications mediums. Primary responsibilities will include: 1. Developing and implementing effective social media strategies to deliver effective messages; 2. Maintaining and updating the Division Web site content to ensure accuracy and user engagement; 3. Creating and distributing a comprehensive Division newsletter to a variety of audiences including the student body at the Pittsburgh campus; 4. Coordinating and updating content for the Division of Student Affairs network of digital TVs located in the Student Unions, Cathedral of Learning, and Residence Halls; 5. Assisting the Marketing team with administrative processes, including print production, marketing materials distribution, project tracking, and more; 6. Assisting with special projects assigned by the Director or Assistant Director of Marketing and Communications, the Vice Provost and Dean of Students, and/or the Provost.
Other duties will include:
Capturing photography and some video at events to utilize on social media and other mediums.
Assisting with photography management
Assisting with electronic presentations
Performing other duties as assigned
