You are responsible for developing and executing direct response, lead nurture, engagement and amplification strategies. You will develop and successfully build out a multi-channel marketing strategy for the North American, European and Asia Pacific SPDR ETF businesses. You are a passionate, strategic thinker who's not afraid to get into the trenches to get the job done, shifting easily from high-level strategy development to the daily oversight of marketing campaign and implementation activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Evaluate overall health, efficiency and effectiveness of all relationship marketing efforts in the management of a significant marketing budget. - Disseminate relationship marketing and customer engagement best practices throughout the organization. - Lead a test and learn marketing environment that's analytically-driven and data intelligent. - Conduct, lead and guide research programs that improve our response to client needs and changing mind-set, and identify unmet needs. - Ensure digitally-based platforms and programs are in alignment with the firm's broader digital marketing strategies and objectives. - Develop and implement a variety of targeting and segmentation strategies to improve performance and brand awareness (by segment, behaviour, preferences, attributes etc.). - Serve as the advocate and power user of our marketing automation tool, providing users across the organization with guidance, consult and best practices for developing goal-oriented marketing automation programs. - Create sales enablement and integration programs designed to nurture marketing activity and drive asset flows. - Develop client acquisition strategies that generate acceptable acquisition costs and scale. - Design and rollout audience relevant lead nurturing, onboarding and scoring programs across regions. - Run front to end creative process, including the development of creative briefs, securing client approval, building project plans/schedules, and monitoring/maintaining project scope, resources, budget, deliverables and overall quality of the project. - Deliver campaign strategy recommendations (e.g., testing, follow-ups, media) based on prior campaign results, best practices, and objectives. - Manage the campaign lifecycle through design, development, deployment (list management and campaign execution), and reporting. - Lead the optimization of existing channels (email, mobile, direct mail, gamification) and identify emerging technologies and mediums. - Actively identify solutions designed to improve campaign performance. - Monitor and troubleshoot the firm's email deliverability program, across countries and regions. - Create and monitor analytics to accurately forecast return on investment, cost per acquisition, advertising effectiveness, conversion rates and other metrics as required to direct the optimization of marketing campaigns. - Working with internal sales, business intelligence and CRM teams; develop and disseminate closed loop reporting, lead grading and scoring methodologies, and marketing qualified lead process.
QUALIFICATIONS - Degree calibre; MBA or Masters Degree preferred - Demonstrate strength in strategy development as well as a comprehensive knowledge of multi-channel marketing management - Experience in financial services marketing (knowledge of financial advisory community and institutional investors a plus) - Agency experience or experience working with an agency, web/graphic designers and other creative professionals - Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, rapidly changing, team-based environment - Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term, immediate deadlines - Shown creative thinking and problem solving skills - Ability to cultivate collaboration, value others perspectives and gain support and consensus for business proposals - Flexibility and responsiveness to deal with complex problems and strategic opportunities on the fly - able to think on your feet and nimbly go from 10,000 foot view to ground level and back
