This position deploys entity-based public relations, marketing, community relations and internal communications strategy in coordination with the System department of Marketing and Communications and local entity leadership.
Works with local staff to identify media opportunities and then pitches those stories to key media contacts.
Arranges interviews under quick deadlines to meet the requirements of media when contacted for stories.
Writes timely stories for use both internally and externally.
Develops, coordinates and staffs local marketing events to support growth goals and strengthen the position of the SSM Health brand.
Posts local event photos, news and recognitions to social media.
Adjusts marketing materials as needed for use locally.
Works with SSM Health internal communications team, leadership, Human Resources and other internal leadership to craft local internal communications and ensure alignment to system communications.
Monitors the success of initiatives and continually improves results.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required
4-6 years of experience required
