As the largest business within Fitch Group, Fitch Ratings produces several hundred pieces of analytical content per week, including rating actions, commentary, research reports, multimedia and data visualization. The Director, Marketing and Research Distribution will develop a targeted approach to reaching audiences of strategic importance to our corporate finance business, including bank syndicate desks and private equity. Key aspects of this role will include:
Working with our business relationship management teams (issuers, investors, bankers/PE and structured credit) and our CRM team to ensure these targeted groups can be readily reached through a well-researched and up-to-date set of lists maintained in our CRM.
Enhancing visibility of Fitch Ratings content that is of the greatest interest to these groups and driving targeted outreach to them.
Oversee regular content marketing to these targeted groups, including repackaging published content, drafting summary notes and other bespoke outreach.
Coordinate with other groups in Fitch Ratings to ensure the Corporate Finance team is aware of relevant campaigns in other groups and is likewise sharing its own activities of broader value.
The Director will be a member of the Corporate Finance Business and Relationship Management team working with the marketing staff as well as with Digital Media, CRM and Fitch Solutions teams to ensure an integrated approach to promoting research content and marketing messages through various channels.
The Director will develop innovative campaigns that broaden Fitch's reach through targeted and customized distribution strategies.
Monitoring research pipeline and content on fitchratings.com to identify targeted distribution opportunities.
Presenting Fitch research to strategic market participants in a customized and digestible manner.
Developing and maintaining targeted distribution lists via Salesforce.
Working closely with CRM team to maintain the integrity of strategic contact information.
Identifying key research content and repackaging in a customized format for a targeted audience.
Preparing brief write-ups summarizing research commentary and marketing messages for external distribution.
Promotion: Partner with colleagues in Communications (includes Corporate Communications and Digital Media) and across Fitch to ensure all areas of the website and our social media outreach are in sync with other marketing activities and campaigns.
Promotion of Fitch research and content via third party distribution channels – syndication of content to relevant industry publications and websites.
Innovation: Stay up to date on current and emerging trends, new technology, best practices and competition to constantly evolve our capabilities. Develop innovative ways to present Fitch Ratings content and marketing collateral to bankers and issuers working closely with the Digital Media team.
Coordinator: Liaise with colleagues in global BRM and Analytical team.
Qualifications and experience:
Strategic Vision and Critical Thinking
Deep knowledge and understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic trends, credit markets

Strong writing and editorial skills
Develops a solid understanding of the competitive landscape as well as the orientation of how clients consume information
Financial Services experience in content creation and digital marketing
Effective written and verbal communication skills
