OVERVIEW The Marketing Coordinator works with the marketing and communications team to coordinate and develop marketing materials and campaigns to support the promotion and outreach of The Beryl Institute’s departments, including membership, learning programs, publications and events. Projects will focus on promotion and communication initiatives to enhance brand awareness, membership growth and retention, event participation and learning programs.
REPORTS TO Marketing Manager, The Beryl Institute
LOCATION Based in Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, but will work remotely with periodic in-person meetings
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include the following, with other duties that may be assigned as the community grows and the role develops.
General copy editing, proofreading and tracking of newsletters, website content, membership communications, promotional materials, press releases, white papers/research reports and other content as needed
Managing social media accounts by building content calendar and monitoring social campaigns
Overseeing website copy and content maintenance
Assisting with logistical preparation execution at annual Patient Experience Conference and other events
Building email campaigns and track marketing metrics and website/email engagement
Providing exemplary community experience through website and phone inquiries
Conducting basic office functions as needed, such as data entry, fulfillment and customer service
Assisting with other marketing, communication and operational tasks as assigned
Bachelor’s Degree required, Marketing or Public Relations focus preferred with at least one year marketing experience
Team player with an understanding and focus on the delivery of unparalleled service
Effective communication skills, both oral and written – must provide writing samples/portfolio
Active engagement and knowledge of social media platforms
Healthcare industry and email marketing knowledge a plus
Strong organization and time management skills
Independent/self-starter – ability to take on tasks without instruction
Attention to detail
Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs, some HTML preferred
