Assist in the Athletic Department’s efforts to maximize attendance at our events through traditional and non-traditional marketing and promotional opportunities. Serve as a member of the intercollegiate athletics marketing team that is involved in all aspects of marketing for all of our teams, including: planning, advertising, promotion, public relations, program and product development, distribution, and research to meet the department’s goals and objectives. Provide exceptional customer service to fans, donors, staff and friends of Purdue University. Provide written and oral communication as needed.

Bachelor's Degree Marketing, Communications, Athletic Administration, Management or related field required.
Two years progressive marketing, promotions and in-game promotion management required. Marketing/Promotions or sales/advertising experience within a Division I or pro sports team is preferred.
Must be able to encompass the strategic mission of Purdue University and Intercollegiate Athletics with tact and diplomacy at all times. Strong interpersonal, creative, motivational and communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate well in writing and speaking before groups. Excellent organizational, project management, problem-solving and customer service skills required. Ability to influence and build work relationships among a diverse workforce at all levels necessary. Must be able to effectively meet established deadlines in a timely manner. Must possess a learning orientation to changing technology impacting athletics marketing, promotions and communications processes. Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office. Demonstrable proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite required. Fluency of social media platforms outside of personal use required. Ability to communicate and adhere to University, Big Ten Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Experience with Game Time Pro software and Google Analytics preferred. Must be able to work weekends and travel. Knowledge of Purdue a plus but not required.
