Developing marketing strategy in accordance with the strategic plan, budget and executive management.
Responsible for researching, monitoring and analyzing customer data and market trends.
Exploring ways of improving existing products and services and increasing profitability.
Developing, implementing and coordinating with sales functions all marketing campaigns and communications to include advertising, promotional items, targeted e-mails, on-hold system, brochures, newsletters, new business materials, direct mail and statement stuffers.
Responsible for coordinating the marketing launch of new products and services.
Responsible for writing, design, layout, proofs, rewrites and/or edits. Produce and retouch graphics and layouts as needed. Approve artwork.
Designing and managing all communications including advertisements. Oversee the planning and execution of corporate special events.
Oversees purchasing and inventory control for printed materials and promotional items. Ensures quality control is maintained at all times.
Education & Experience
BA/BS in Communications/Marketing/Public Relations or related field required.
Minimum 5 to 10 years progressively responsible professional experience in marketing, advertising, communications, product development and public relations in a financial institution.
Demonstrated knowledge of Bank rules and regulations and compliance requirements for advertising and promotions.
Knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts.
Ability to think creatively.
Work well in a team and with a wide range of people.
Previous experience with MCIF, ALM & web based and direct mail promotions preferred.
Must be proactive and able to take initiative.
Organized and outstanding written, communication and presentation skills.
Must be persuasive and diplomatic.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, meet required deadlines and achieve the desired results within budget.
PC proficient, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the Internet. Experience in website, newsletter and direct mail promotions design (Quark, Adobe, Acrobat).
Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to deal with multiple vendors. Purchasing experience a plus.
Excellent communicator including verbal, written, telephone and presentations.
Ability to function in a commercial business environment and utilize standard office equipment including but not limited to: fax, copier, telephone, etc. Must be able to lift 25 pounds (file boxes, brochures, etc.).
