The Marketing and Partnership Manager is responsible for deploying, tracking and measuring marketing strategies for degree programs and initiatives based at the Northeastern University - Toronto campus and providing logistical and programmatic support for academic programs, especially those targeted to the employer community. Strategies deployed to be successful in this role will support annual enrollment goals and support the academic mission of the various programs. The position will work collaboratively with both the Toronto campus team and the marketing team. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support the overall marketing strategy, messaging and positioning for degree programs, sectors, audiences and initiatives targeted to the GTA and broader Canadian market.
Develop and manage execution of marketing and program plans through effective project management skills
Work collaboratively with Enrollment Marketing team to ensure that all marketing reflects consistent and timely on-brand messages as well as develop lead cultivation and conversion strategies.
Build and maintain relationships with internal and external university partners and assist in managing marketing vendors (creative teams, agencies, print production etc.).
Utilize marketing automation tool (Marketo) and CRM (Salesforce) to attract and nurture prospective students through the enrollment process.
Collaborate with marketing and academic program teams to effectively manage the budget for assigned degree programs, disciplines and initiatives.
Support programming efforts through logistical and academic coordination of a variety of degree and non-degree programming efforts. This may include coordinating with faculty, the campus administration in Toronto as well as program staff on the main campus.
Assist Principal in corporate and employer outreach with the goal of ensuring strategic partnerships and programming opportunities to the employer community.
Coordinate and refine day-to-day operations in regard to relationship and programming opportunities secured through MOUs and contracts with the employer community.
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing or related field with minimum of 4 years experience in marketing and/or academic programming in the higher education context. Demonstrated success in the development and implementation of managing multifaceted and dynamic projects. Flexible, creative thinker open to new ideas and changing priorities within a fast-paced organization. Strong writing, project management skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to think and act both analytically and strategically. Experience working with a marketing automation tool (Marketo) and customer relationship management system (CRM) and rudimentary graphic design skills are a plus. Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
