Create a strategic marketing culture throughout the school, partnering with “key” clients such as enrollment, development, alumni, academics, athletics, the arts, Parent Civic Organization (PCO) and other auxiliary programs.
Create, manage, and position a marketing “services hub” model to support, align and direct/influence/empower/engage marketing strategies across the school community.
Craft and rive a multi-year marketing communications strategy that supports institutional priorities and core mission.
Serve as lead brand manager, including driving brand consistency and evaluating brand effectiveness.
Serve as lead content director for all media channels.
Shape and direct social media strategy by driving innovation, evaluating effectiveness and participating in implementation.
Ensure clear direction and execution of communication and marketing strategies.
Creates a school-wide strategy, including execution and assessment, in connecting community ideas and partnerships with school divisions so collaborative initiatives and partnerships can emerge or programs develop.
Seeks and applies for local, state and national recognitions related to community engagement, and works with school leaders in development of such recognitions and reports
Evaluate and analyze marketing communications, social media and branding results in relation to external and internal audiences to ensure maximum impact.
Direct the strategic approach to increase inquiries (new leads) including marketing qualified leads by converting site traffic through landing pages and lead generation content.
Demonstrate a passion for Aspen Academy and a keen ability to convey the School’s program, opportunities and vision to an array of constituencies.
At least five years of prior experience in the field of marketing and communications.
Exhibit a cooperative team approach, complete with a good sense of humor and demonstration of a united front.
Demonstrate excellent and effective written and verbal communications with an array of constituents: administrators, faculty, parents, trustees, vendors, consultants, and friends of the school.
Display initiative, internal motivation, a willingness to take on responsibilities beyond those explicitly defined, and an ability to learn new and established procedures.
Extensive project management skills
In-depth knowledge and experience with website management and/or content management systems, social media, graphic design, digital photography and/or desktop publishing.
Execute responsibilities efficiently, accurately and on or before deadlines.
Possess expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, CMS, social media applications, Google Analytics, Meta Tabs, Illustrator, video editing programs and the ability to learn additional software and web-based applications as needed.
Possess strong knowledge of best practices in digital communications, web design, and graphic design.
Exhibit the ability to define problems, collect data, establish fact, grapple with complexity and inconclusive evidence, and draw valid conclusions.
Exhibit sound judgment related to confidential conversations, projects, and information related to the School or any of its constituents including the effective communication regarding such matters to the appropriate individuals.
Possess the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and, percentages.
