The Associate Director supports and manages all ongoing activities related to international marketing and recruitment. Responsibilities will include:
Respond to agent request for marketing materials.
Responsible for production of printed and electronic materials.
Manage and update the International Programs website.
Write, edit and upload content for social media channels/websites and maintain online press room.
Produce and distribute quarterly e-newsletters.
Coordinate the production of new promotional items such as brochures, videos, posters, DVD’s, etc., including creation and maintenance of all electronic profiles for promotional purposes.
Update all printed and electronic profiles featuring the college.
Represent the college at off-campus marketing and recruitment activities, possibly including occasional international travel.
Oversee international trip preparation, including ad creation, production of country and event specific promotional items, and overseeing shipments to ensure timely delivery.
Hire, train, supervise, and provide positive leadership to team of part-time and student staff.
Manage marketing in the absence of the Director of International Marketing or Director of International Student Recruitment.
Track all new students every quarter – retention, program progression, graduation.
Monitor and produce NO SHOW quarterly reports. Follow up with agencies about NO SHOWS and determine trends by agency, country and program.
Run quarterly new student survey for marketing purposes
Organize and conduct parent/agent orientation.
Respond and manage all inquiries received through ISS inquiry desk, college website and Facebook as they pertain to international students and agents.
Coordinate agency, prospective parent and student visits as needed.
Monitor marketing budget expenditures for activities, equipment and supplies as well as shipping, duplicating of promotional literature, brochures, DVDs, CDs, etc.
Negotiate rates with publishers of printed media and advertising companies for web profiles.
Research and negotiate rates for promotional marketing items.
Work closely with publishers and advertisers for the renewal and negotiation of rates for printed and electronic ads, promotions and publications.
This is an exempt position reporting to the Director of International Marketing.
PHYSICAL WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work is typically performed in an office setting. The ability to sit at a desk/computer station and operate standard office equipment such as a computer, requiring repetitive arm-hand movements, is essential. The position requires traveling to off-campus locations using personal transportation and may require occasional international travel. Excellent communication and problem solving skills are essential.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
1 year of experience in customer service and public relations.

Basic knowledge of marketing principles as they pertain to publications, ads and web promotion.
Computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office, the internet and social networking sites such as Facebook.
