Job Function: This senior-level sales position is responsible for driving the Company’s overall sales initiatives in the healthcare and corporate markets. Positive Promotions is one of the nation’s leading promotional products companies, located in Long Island, New York. This sales management professional will be responsible for managing a team of Account Managers and supporting both inside and outside sales initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Grow revenue of all managed accounts as well as identifying new business opportunities. - Create sales incentives that encourage the sales team to aggressively surpass their established goals. - Establish monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives. - Analyze customer needs and/or goals to assist in generating creative proposals that exceed customer expectations and expand revenue opportunities. - Manage and create sales dashboard and monthly forecast reports. - Manage marketing materials and drive vision for new marketing approaches. - Lead Generation Development experience with the ability to manage a conversion process. - Ability to track, monitor and drive ROI. - Participate in major sales event and trade shows. - Establish effective relationships and collaborations with other departments (Marketing, Customer Service, etc.). - Assist Human Resources in recruiting new sales representatives.
- 5+ years of sales management experience. - Experience and success in recruiting and retaining a high performing sales team. - Strong sales skills and a proven ability in telephone selling along with solution based selling approach. - Inside sales management experience preferred. - A track record of growing revenues. - Ability to create impactful sales presentations. - Exposure to best-in-class sales management (forecasting, planning and reporting) best practices (i.e. techniques, methods, processes, activities, incentives or rewards). - Ability to qualify leads by looking beyond basic metrics. - Process and goal oriented. - Demonstrated maturity, presence, attention to detail, initiative, and problem solving skills. - Pipeline development and sales planning through the CRM. - Good coaching and mentoring skills. - Strong presentation and follow-up skills. - Business related computer skills including experience with a CRM system. - Strong leadership skills, that demonstrates presence and authority in dealing with people at all levels. Proven track record in bringing a blend of creativity, business acumen, and passion to produce successful, innovative, and cost effective campaigns. - Ability to manage multiple projects/initiatives simultaneously, while meeting deadlines and business objectives. - Ability to work across functions and within a management team to drive change in a positive, collaborative, and transparent way. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to manage at both the strategic and operational level. - Ultimate team player with ability to work with team members at all levels of the organization. - BA/BS degree
