Professors of economics at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania are seeking a Research Coordinator who will oversee projects at the forefront of public finance, taxation, inequality, and behavioral economics. The position entails analyzing public and private data sets using statistical packages (such as Stata) and performing numerical simulations using languages such as Matlab and Python. The Research Coordinator will work closely with Principal Investigators to manage projects and tasks, and will be an integral part of the research process, performing literature reviews, drafting research reports, and shepherding the publication process. Anticipated start date in July 2017. This is a one year position, with the possibility of extending to two years. Position is contingent upon funding.
