They will have a strong understanding of marketing strategies and processes across a wide-range of digital and traditional media. Responsibilities: • Works with the Marketing Manager and Marketing Director to create strategic and tactical marketing plans that promote the Bank’s brand, products and services • As part of the strategy, the Marketing Specialist executes all day-to-day tactical plans that will include a mix of digital and traditional marketing (print, social media, content marketing, email, paid search, online display, web, email, events, radio, and more) • Responsible for creating and maintaining project marketing plans and timelines • Writes and edits compelling copy for marketing campaigns • Works directly with in-house and agency graphic designers • Facilitates the review and approval process with stakeholders including marketing and compliance departments • Coordinates project estimates, orders, and vendor selection/relations • Builds and maintains valued relationships with internal teams, senior management, branches, customer service staff, and vendors • Monitors and reports on marketing campaigns and projects • Stays abreast of competitive landscape and proactively identifies new opportunities based on industry trends and observations
Skills/Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications • Three to Five years’ relevant experience; experience in a fast-paced agency or corporate in-house agency environment is preferred • Proven track record developing and implementing B2B and B2C marketing strategies and tactical plans • Excellent project management skills, attention to detail and follow-through • Strong copywriting skills specific to direct response marketing is essential • A solid understanding of design with the ability to provide clear direction and guidance to graphic designers • Strong collaboration, communication and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of the Bank • Ability to effectively influence and communicate ideas, resolve issues and offer solutions within a team environment • A strong understanding of digital marketing including web, paid search, online display, email, social media, video • Familiarity with the print production process • Comfort level with popular marketing software applications, such as content management systems, marketing automation tools, email service providers, and CRM systems • The ability to track, analyze and report on campaign performance • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint • Familiarity with customer profiling, strategic segmentation, A/B testing and other quantitative/qualitative methodologies a plus
