The Assistant Director is responsible for management and strategic planning of the department's marketing and development efforts, as well as supervision of graduate and student staff. This position has the unique opportunity to interact with department, division, and university stakeholders, including students and student organizations, as well as support all efforts to "tell the story" of the Department of Student Activities. This position will have budget oversight and will also support the management of the department's assessment plan.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six years of progressively responsible experience in communications-related positions, including supervisory experience.
