The American Society of Nuclear Cardiology is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic team player for a Marketing Coordinator position. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of marketing experience with an association or non-profit organization. They are detail-oriented, eager to learn in a collaborative, small-team environment. Will report to the Director of Marketing.
The position reports to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Coordinates all stages of marketing campaigns, including strategies, plans, and objectives; organizing and updating calendars. Reviewing post-launch results.
Works collaboratively with other departments (Membership, Meeting & Events, Quality, Education, Advocacy, Business Development and Editorial) to provide marketing support, collect and apply feedback and gain consensus for final marketing creative.
Helps execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels (direct mail, email, web, newsletters, etc.), writing creative briefs, writing marketing copy, working directly with designers for creative design coordinate with print vendors on direct mail promotions.
Promotes meetings and webinars by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists.
Create email campaigns, manage distribution, perform A/B Testing, segmentation and list maintenance.
Website editing, performance review and suggest areas of improvement. Utilize Google Analytics and SEO best practices.
Social media content creation and strategy on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube. Create ads and target appropriately.
Prepares marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
Researches competitors by identifying and evaluating their strengths and weaknesses.
Basic graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign.
Press release writing and distribution strategy.
Updates job knowledge by reading industry publications to stay current with new trends.
Basic video editing.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, English, Communication or related field. 2-3 years’ experience in Marketing role, or equivalent related experience.
Technology:Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), required. Familiarity with HTML, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Photoshop and/or InDesign. Knowledge of Emma Email System, Hootsuite, Membership Database Software, Video Editing a plus.
Demonstrated ability to learn and work efficiently in a fast-paced, small-team environment.
Ability to prioritize, focus and adjust to changing priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
Strong attention to detail, organizational and problem resolution skills are a must.
Familiarity with or willingness to learn technical and analytic marketing skills.
Willing to travel, as needed (1-2 times per year).
BA/BS degree preferred
Two or more years of experience in office assistant role and/or with marketing coordinator responsibilities
Working knowledge of internet and web technology, including social media and some HTML
Knowledge in email creation using email marketing software (Emma )
Knowledge of membership software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills, efficiency, strong attention to detail.
Ability to exercise discretion and diplomacy in interactions with members and constituents.
Strong writing skills and ability to communicate orally with internal and external stakeholders.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite required.
