Reporting to the Vice President of the Hilton Head Island Visitor & Convention Bureau, the Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for multiple destination websites and management of all digital assets across all channels. In addition this role will oversee the destinations database, managing the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform, collaborating on and executing the strategy for all online platforms and supporting the health of the online businesses through partner relationships, detailed reporting, analysis and optimization for the Hilton Head Island–Bluffton Chamber of Commerce/Visitor & Convention Bureau.
The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for the maintenance and growth of the brand by building our online channels: websites, digital campaigns, SEO/SEM, social and mobile app. They will ensure the brand growth with a mix of hands-on, team and partner collaboration and execution of all website and digital marketing efforts.
This persons responsibilities will include:
Planning and management of websites, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
Work directly with and day-to-day management of digital agency
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy, process and execution
The position demands a strong project management background, solid organizational skills and a well-developed ability to prioritize. In addition, excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Lastly, this person will also need to be resourceful, solution oriented and willing to execute.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage day-to-day execution of overarching strategy for all website, SEO/SEM, digital, social media and mobile app platforms
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
In partnership, internal and with Chamber partners, produce and communicate monthly reports to internal stakeholders and tourism partners
Identify and communicate industry and/or business performance trends and insights
Collaborate, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with partners and optimize user experience
Support the management of database, its process and performance
Manage and collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide insight and perspective for consideration where appropriate
Support Marketing team in executing marketing plans, supplemental grants and executive summaries
BS/MS degree in marketing or related fields
Proven working experience in digital marketing
Working understanding of CRM database
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Superior knowledge of web platforms such as WordPress
Proficient in editing code
Experience in optimizing website, microsites and landing pages
Ability to manage SEO/SEM, marketing database and display advertising campaigns
Knowledge of all Adobe programs preferred
Full knowledge of MS Office required including Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Strong communication, research and presentation skills
