The Director of Admissions and Marketing is a member of the senior leadership team and is responsible for overseeing the recruitment of new students, managing the admissions process, and marketing CIS to the wider community.
Communicate the mission and purpose of the school to prospective candidates and the wider community of Columbia through tours, Open House events, personal outreach, and other media;
Develop new inquiries and present the school to prospective students and parents;
Lead the admissions process in a timely and efficient manner (interviewing students and parents, coordinating classroom visits, obtaining and organizing admissions documents, communicating regularly with families);
Recruit and train current parents and students as ambassadors of the school to extend admissions efforts;
Assist the division directors in the retention of current students;
Design, with additional support, a comprehensive brand and marketing plan;
Promote the CIS brand by overseeing the creation of marketing materials;
Serve as a public representative for CIS;
Communicate with the CIS community through social media, email, and other resources;
Create the admissions budget and oversee the allocation of marketing resources;
Keep accurate records and analyze data related to the admissions and marketing efforts of the school to improve the impact of these efforts;
Supervise the Communications and Development Assistant;
Participate on the scholarship and financial aid committees.

Successful record in admissions or marketing;
Eye for detail with strong editing skills;
Ability to organize multiple processes;
Understanding of social media as a communications and marketing tool.
