Helps to develop and coordinate marketing and promotional efforts for Charlotte 49ers intercollegiate sports Implements marketing strategies and game day promotional activities for various sports Oversight of the Charlotte 49ers Norm Mascot program Assist in managing operations for Charlotte Spirit Programs Assists with and plans special events Assists with content creation for Athletics Social Media Accounts (Instagram, Facebook & Twitter) Designs and creates advertisements for print and electronic media Assists Assistant Directors of Marketing with marketing and promotions of Men's and Women's Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Volleyball Oversees overall marketing efforts for men's and women's tennis, and track and field Helps to oversee student internship program Assist Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing with on campus grass roots marketing Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director of Marketing
Minimum Experience / Education:
College degree is required, preferably in a related field. Previous marketing experience.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Previous experience with social media management Must be self-motivated and team-oriented Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills Computer experience, especially with desktop publishing (i.e. InDesign and Photoshop) The duties and responsibilities of this position must be performed in a competent manner following the highest standards for leadership, professionalism, integrity, accountability, responsibility, cooperation, and customer service
