Nemours is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Marketing Communications), Temporary, Part-Time to join our Nemours Children's Hospital team in Orlando, Florida.

Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 100-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. A hospital designed by families for families, Nemours Children's Hospital blends the healing power of nature with the latest in healthcare innovation to deliver world-class care to the children of Central Florida and beyond. In keeping with our goal of bringing Nemours care into the communities we serve, we also provide specialty outpatient care in several clinics located throughout the region.

Job Duties

This is a Temporary, Part-time (20-25 hours per week) position. The duration of the position is until December 18, 2018.

The Marketing Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Director of Marketing & Communication and the Central Florida marketing team, enabling the achievement of mission critical inpatient and ambulatory goals. Key responsibilities include support of targeted marketing campaigns, coordination of marketing events, performing assigned research, managing inventory of a high volume of marketing collateral and promotional items, and coordination of department purchasing, travel, and calendars.

  • Provide administrative support to the Marketing and Communications Director and department.
  • Coordinate travel for the Marketing and Communications Director and department staff.
  • Process and maintain records of purchase orders, check requests, expense reports and tracking budgets for department.
  • Assists with research, planning, implementation and follow-up of community marketing events to support Nemours primary and urgent care network of practices.
  • Arrange and schedule meetings for both internal and external groups.
  • Ensuring a smooth check in for outside groups and coordinating technological and catering needs.
  • Maintain supplies and coordinating technological support for the department.
  • Assist with preparation of presentations and proofreading documents.
  • Manage inventory of marketing collateral material and promotional items.
  • Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.

Job Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required.
  • Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years job related experience required.
  • Demonstrates strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work load to meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to anticipate problems so they can be prevented.
  • Good time management skills and a sense of urgency.
  • Completes tasks before deadlines and allows time to handle unexpected last-minute requests.
  • Excellent communication skills.
