Global Marketing Manager – Adsorbent Solutions – Gas Treatment (1800390) – Iselin, NJ
BASF is currently seeking a Global Marketing Manager to focus on the natural gas treatment and sulfur recovery markets utilizing adsorbent solutions. The primary role of the Global Market Manager is to fully understand the markets and customer needs, position our portfolio in the market, define value propositions and value pricing, develop and launch new products to fill market needs, and drive continuous business growth.
Formula for Success: You Will...
Develop market segment strategy and steer its implementation through clearly defined KPIs.
Steer and compile market and competitive intelligence.
Identify strategic markets and potential growth opportunities.
Manage strategic portfolio by market and product segment.
Develop business cases for innovation and investment projects, and coordinate with stakeholders in phase gate process.
Implement product positioning by market/process including value proposition, selling story, and alignment with Sales.
Develop pricing strategy/model development including value pricing approaches.
Define target prices and align with Sales.
Manage product life cycle (e.g., IP strategy).
Plan and coordinate new product launch aligned with Sales.
Plan marketing communication activities.
Build relationships with key customers, licensors, and industry leaders.
Manage technical product knowledge and provide product/process expertise.
Define design directives for technical and warranty proposals to customers.
Provide training, tools, and documentation including technical manuals for technical account managers.
Identify new technical applications for existing products.
Propose and manage incremental innovation projects for product/process improvements.
Provide technical requirements for product specifications and drive process.
