Oversee all marketing and promotions for the purpose of event awareness, increased attendance and revenue production. Create and implement marketing plans and promotions that effectively meet campaign goals and objectives. Increase attendance and revenue at ticketed events. Implement group night strategies that grow ticket sales and outreach. Schedule marketing cause and theme nights that enhance fan experiences and increase ticket sales. Collaboratively work with departments of game production, fan engagement/experience, development, sponsorship, graphic design, broadcast and communications. Implement robust campus marketing plan directed at students, staff, faculty and campus communities. Serve as liaison to campus committees representing Intercollegiate Athletics. Assist in the development, execution and maintenance of the marketing budget. Intern scheduling, oversight and project accountability. Event planning, execution and accountability. Spirit team and band liaison. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must work well with cross business units. Provide team leadership and motivation. Be creative and understand industry trends. Strong computer skills in adobe creative suites, Microsoft word and excel.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field, with sports industry marketing experience. Two years of related work experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 3 years of experience in intercollegiate or professional sports marketing climate with progressive growth pattern. Graphic design capabilities, sales experience and direct marketing promotions experience that allows candidate to showcase measurable successful campaigns that he/she has implemented. Good use and knowledge of social media outlets. Must demonstrate strong organizational skills, have a professional demeanor, be able to operate in a fast paced work environment.
