Graham-Pelton is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to support the global Marketing and Communications efforts. This position will be based out of the Summit, NJ office and will report to the Manager, Marketing and Communications, Corporate, who is based remotely. In addition to supporting Graham-Pelton Marketing and Communications efforts, this individual may be asked to assist in supporting GP Catholic Services, a division of Graham-Pelton, as well as Collegium Holdings, the parent company of Graham-Pelton.
Events and vendor relations
Assist in coordinating marketing and planning activities for external events, including exhibitor registration, scheduling staff and travel, managing and preparing shipments of exhibits and materials, and maintaining a calendar of events
Coordinate branded materials including logos, printed materials, and collateral (shirts, giveaways, stickers, etc.) with vendors as necessary. Maintain inventories and respond to requests for materials
Ensure that sponsor logos and banner ads are up-to-date across websites and in event materials and publications
Serve as vendor liaison as required to ensure seamless implementation and accurate integration of the Graham-Pelton brand
Internal and External Communications
Create and distribute regular communications (in print and/or digital) for internal and external use, such as monthly operations updates, newsletters, and quarterly reports
Create, manage, and link landing pages and relevant content to communications vehicles as necessary
Maintain distribution lists, manage subscribe/unsubscribe requests, and track engagement
Support special marketing campaigns including direct mail or email campaigns
Support and respond to requests for branded material
Coordinate production of marketing-related collateral and materials including advertisements, templates, infographics, and print materials
Prepare and modify content as necessary for distribution across different media including print, virtual, video, social media, website, etc.
Assist in producing and managing direct mail campaigns
Maintain and update archive file of all print pieces
Distribute and manage content and blog posts to all relevant social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn, Twitter, and company website)
Monitor and interact in social media communities
Update communications calendar as needed to reflect activity, priorities, and initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, business management, media studies, journalism, or related discipline
Strong command of language, with ability to communicate effectively in both written and graphic form
Entrepreneurial, self-starter spirit and optimistic attitude with ability to keep up with fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and superb critical thinking
Comfortable with ambiguity and strong time management skills to meet concurrent deadlines
Necessary skills and experience:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop, strongly preferred
Preferred skills and experience:
WordPress or other content management systems
MailChimp or other email marketing system
Salesforce or other CRM
Social media platforms
Light HTML and/or CSS is a plus
Light A/V editing is a plus
Understanding of philanthropy industry and/or nonprofits is a plus
