The National Association of Bond Lawyers (NABL), a small, 8-employee/2,7000 member trade association is looking for a Digital Marketing Assistant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional trade association, who will be responsible for improving the online and general experience of the Association’s members and other target audiences. This individual will also help to develop and improve the NABL website, e-mail communications, social media channels, mobile apps, etc.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Draft website copy and make updates on the website; assist in reviewing website copy and identify areas for updates and improvements
Assist with the development of conference marketing emails, member renewal emails, member services emails and other marketing efforts as necessary
Assist with association’s electronic newsletters
Coordinate social media presence
Attend conferences as needed to assist with events, registrations, and other functions in conjunction with the conference
Work on event mobile applications
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organized, detail oriented, and able to effectively present information to management. Along with a collaborative work style, attention to detail and a passion for association work, candidates will need the following: Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 3 years of professional experience, in a non-profit/professional trade association.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite and association management applications, iMis 20 preferred
Working knowledge of basic HTML and experience with DNN
Experience with marketing email systems, experience with Informz is a plus
High level written, verbal and visual communication skills
Ability to write in a professional/business style and tone
Knowledge of social media applications in the business environment
Ability to organize, prioritize work, multitask, and take initiative.
Some overnight travel may be required.
