The Lutheran Medical Center Marketing Manager is responsible for marketing activities associated with services within the region/care site and its entities, including marketing plan development for priority stakeholders, clinical/service areas, prioritizing and channels. Contributes to the development of new services. Executes marketing plans via digital/social engagement, advertising, direct marketing, service promotions, etc.
Planning & Development
Coordinate activities associated with marketing planning, including prioritizing stakeholders, services and channels, developing market plans for key clinical services, and presenting plans to marketing director and key leadership. Engage and work collaboratively with other departments to develop and prioritize initiatives.
Create and implement marketing plans and programs to reach key patient/physician/community segments via digital and social media engagement, advertising, direct marketing, events and service promotions. Use system-shared services in the execution of tactical plans.
Develop digital marketing strategy and tactics as part of overall marketing plan.
Work with partner organizations in the development, execution and measurement of mutually beneficial marketing and communication initiatives.
Collect and analyze up-to-date market intelligence about competitors, customers and health marketing trends. Leverage local insights and system research to improve marketing strategy, tactics and outcomes.
Monitor marketing activity and develop measurement tools to track results of marketing activity and makes recommendations regarding the success or failure of plans and promotions.
Manage ongoing marketing activities associated with access and information management to maintain and keep current service information in appropriate digital and print vehicles.
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or advertising and 5-7 years of relevant experience required. Demonstrated project management skills and ability to manage priorities and utilize time effectively. Creative mindset to problem solving and marketing tactics required. Knowledge of market dynamics, service and brand management, current marketing/ communication principles, digital, social and traditional formats required. Strong written, oral and electronic communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work in and support a matrix relationship with dual (system and care site) accountability.
